The Franklin Association of the Southern New England Conference of the UCC invites you and your congregation to our "First Annual Association Picnic" !!!

This is simply a time to gather and enjoy one another’s company—there will be no meeting and no Association business conducted. Everyone from our congregations is encouraged to attend, not only clergy and delegates. Church members, families, friends, neighbors, and newcomers are all welcome as we celebrate God’s community together.

Please bring a dish to share and something to sit on. There will be lawn games, places to hike, and plenty of opportunities to relax, reconnect, and meet friends from across the Franklin Association.

Come for the picnic. Stay for the fellowship. Everyone is invited!

Some have suggested we get together and "associate" more often, and we've heard from other Associations that they have enjoyed picnics as a means to do so. So, we're going to give it a go! Rain or shine!
The Buckland Recreation Area has a covered Pavilion, picnic tables, bathrooms, basketball/pickleball court, and outside play areas. We will have a grill available for cooking. Weather permitting, the pool area with lifeguard(s) will be open - there is a fee to use the pool however ($7-12/person). If you are not familiar with Buckland, "the Rec" is 15 minutes west of the Greenfield I-91/Rt 2 rotary not far off Route 2. (Be sure to enter "Ashfield Road" in your GPS and not "Ashfield Street"...)
Bring your own picnic and, if you are so moved, bring something to share with others. We hope to see you there.
