SAVE THE DATES, Sept. 25, 26, 27, 2026 for the next annual meeting of SNEUCC. Details of times and agendas will follow when they become available.
The 7th Annual Meeting of the Southern New England Conference is slated to take place over the course of three days - Sept. 25 to 27 - and will include workshops, learning sessions, and a Conference-wide Sunday worship that will be streamed to congregations across the region.
The meeting is being held at the DCU Center in Worcester, MA, with some of the events taking place at the Worcester Area Mission Society facility down the street. It will begin with a plenary session Friday afternoon, followed by an evening event highlighting the Imani Village Project at Trinity UCC in Chicago. Saturday will be a mix of plenary sessions, worship and workshops.
"The Center for Transformational Leadership (CTL) will host a slate of workshops for participants to choose from," said Rev. Heather Ramsey Mabrouk, CTL Director. "They will be focused on skill building, best practices, practical strategies, and useful tools for strengthening the ties that bind or nurturing new ties that lead to connection with neighbors, other churches, and area nonprofits. These workshops will equip and empower clergy, church staff, and lay volunteers to lead faithful, resilient, nimble churches connected to their communities for the sake of mutual ministry."
Sunday will feature a worship service, held at the WAMS building, which was formally the United Congregational Church. The service will be available via streaming, and congregations are urged to use the stream as their worship that Sunday, allowing a communal experience across the Conference.
Details will be announced as they are finalized.
Registration and sponsorship opportunities will be available later this spring.
