Legacy of Pete Seeger Festival

PETE SEEGER FESTIVAL April 5 at All Souls Church Greenfield, MA 3 pm

The yearly concert honoring the music of Pete Seeger will have a special format this year and a new location. Two dozen musicians will take turns performing examples of music Seeger sang or wrote during his lifetime. The Legacy of Pete Seeger concert will take place on Saturday, April 5, at 3:00 PM at All Souls Church, 399 Main Street in Greenfield.

What is new this year is that the concert will be scripted with Pete’s words in between songs to introduce the music and its meaning. Adam Morse who is writing the script explains, "We want to help the audience become more fully immersed in Pete’s message to us all." The location is wheel-chair accessible and the concert is free and open to all ages with donations welcome. Performers.include Annie Hassett, Molly Scott , the Hilltown Hamhocks and Court Dorsey.
